Discover covers 100+ countries across 6 continents: USA, EU (all 27 + UK), Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, Kenya, Egypt, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, India.
In each country the eSIM attaches to a local Airalo partner (T-Mobile in the US, Etisalat in UAE, Telkomsel in Indonesia, NTT Docomo in Japan). Hotspot tethering works.
Speeds are 4G/LTE in most countries, 5G in developed markets (US, South Korea, UAE, Canada).

Installation and activation
- Buy Discover before the trip starts
- Airalo emails you the QR code
- iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Scan QR
- Android (Pixel, Samsung S20+): Settings → SIM Manager → Add eSIM
- Label the profile "Discover Global"
- In your first country, set the eSIM as the data line
- In every subsequent country, the eSIM auto-switches to the new local partner — no reinstall needed
The 30-day validity starts on first attach in ANY country; the data bucket is shared across all countries.
Things to know
- Cost per GB in Discover is higher than in country packs. For one or two countries, regional is cheaper
- Discover+ accepts bank SMS — that's a rare feature in eSIM land. If you must receive SMS codes, take Discover+
- Discover+ voice covers calls within the country you're in and international. Minutes are shared across the plan
- Russia is not covered — Discover does not work inside Russia (including Discover+)
- eSIM in countries with strict SIM registration (China, India for long stays) — Discover sidesteps this: the Airalo partner is already registered
- South Korea and Japan — Discover works day one, unlike local SIMs that require a store visit
