Coverage and speeds
Airalo Mabuhay roams on Globe Telecom (the country's main network) and Smart Communications — the two largest Philippine carriers with nearly identical footprint.
- Manila (Metro Manila, BGC, Makati) — solid 4G+, with 5G in BGC and Makati.
- Cebu City and Mactan — 4G in town, 4G+ at main beaches (Mapatusu, Shangri-La).
- Boracay — 4G in Station 1/2/3, weaker on remote beaches like Puka.
- Palawan — El Nido — 4G in town, but the moment you leave for a lagoon tour by boat — 3G or nothing. That's the nature reserve reality.
- Coron, Siargao, Bohol — 4G in populated areas, weaker on remote beaches and mountains.
- Typhoon seasons (July–October) — networks can drop temporarily for 1–3 days after major storms.
Tethering is allowed. No local number issued.
Installation and activation
Install the eSIM before departure on Wi-Fi, activate after landing at NAIA, Mactan or Clark.
