Google One Family: How to Pay for Family Subscription
Google One lets you share storage with family — up to 5 additional members can use one subscription. It's cost-effective: one person pays, everyone benefits.
What Family Subscription Includes
Google One plan with Family Sharing includes:
- Up to 5 family group members
- Each gets their own storage within the shared pool
- Google Photos, Gmail, and Drive — each person's files stay separate
- Access to additional Google One benefits for all members
Which Plans Support Family Sharing
Family Sharing is available for 100 GB, 200 GB and higher plans. The basic free plan (15 GB) doesn't support family sharing.
Example: a 200 GB plan will be shared among all members. If you need 100 GB per person — consider the 2 TB plan.
How to Pay
Option 1: via Google Play Gift Card
This is the most reliable method for users without a foreign card:
- Buy a Google Play Gift Card of the required denomination at marix.app
- Activate the code in Google Play
- Set up or renew your Google One subscription — funds will be deducted from the balance
Important: the card's region must match your account region.
Option 2: through marix.app directly
You can buy a ready-made Google One Family subscription from us. We'll select the right plan, set it up for the correct region, and transfer access to you.
Option 3: foreign card
If you have a Turkish, Kazakh, or other foreign card — you can pay directly in Google Play. The account region must match the card country.
How to Invite Members
After setting up the subscription:
- Open Google One → "Family" tab
- Tap "Invite"
- Enter the member's email
- The member accepts the invitation in their account
Restrictions
- Family members cannot manage the subscription — only the organizer can
- If the organizer doesn't renew, all members lose extra storage
- Members can't see each other's file contents — only their own storage
