How to Pay for Google Photos via Google One
Google Photos doesn't sell additional storage separately. All Photos, Gmail, and Drive storage โ is shared. It only expands through a Google One subscription.
How It Works
Every Google account gets 15 GB of free shared storage. This space is divided between:
- Google Photos (photos and videos)
- Gmail (emails and attachments)
- Google Drive (documents and files)
When 15 GB runs out โ new photos stop uploading to Photos. To get space again, you need to subscribe to Google One.
Google One Plans
- 100 GB โ about $2โ3 per month (depending on region)
- 200 GB โ about $3โ4 per month
- 2 TB โ about $10 per month
The more photos and videos โ the more space you need. For active Photos users with videos, 200 GB or 2 TB is recommended.
How to Pay
Via Google Play Gift Card (simplest method)
- Buy a Google Play Gift Card at marix.app โ choose your account's region
- Enter the code in Google Play (play.google.com/redeem)
- Open Google One โ select a plan โ "Buy"
- Funds deducted from Google Play balance
Via card
If you have a foreign card for your region โ you can pay directly.
Via marix.app
Buy a ready-made Google One subscription from us โ we'll activate the right plan for your account.
After Payment
Storage increases instantly after the subscription activates. Google Photos immediately starts syncing new photos.
What Happens If You Don't Renew
If the subscription expires and isn't renewed:
- Photos and files are not deleted immediately
- Google gives time (usually several months) to free up space
- New photos stop uploading until storage is freed
Summary
You can only pay for Google Photos storage through Google One. The simplest method is a Google Play Gift Card from marix.app or a ready-made subscription from us.
