Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud) is officially available in 28 countries in 2026. The service is bundled with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and lets you stream more than 350 games to a browser, smartphone, or Xbox console without local installs. Below is the up-to-date list of supported regions, connection requirements, and what to do if you live somewhere xCloud isn't officially supported.

Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Georgia, and most of CIS are not on the list. Microsoft hasn't announced xCloud rollout plans for these regions in 2026.
xCloud Requirements
- Game Pass Ultimate subscription — mandatory. Core or PC Game Pass do not include cloud streaming.
- Internet speed: 20 Mbps for 1080p, 10 Mbps for 720p; wired or 5 GHz Wi-Fi recommended.
- Supported device: Edge, Chrome, Safari on PC/Mac; iOS/Android via PWA or Xbox app; Xbox consoles; Samsung 2022+ smart TVs.
- Controller — Xbox Wireless Controller is ideal, but DualSense, DualShock 4, and most compatible controllers work.
- Account region must be one of the 28 supported countries.
How to Use xCloud from Unsupported Countries
Technically xCloud checks the Microsoft account region and the IP address when you start a stream. The stable setup for users in Russia or CIS looks like this:
- Create a Microsoft account with Turkey region (one of the cheapest and most reliable for xCloud).

- Enable a VPN with a Turkish IP when launching xCloud in your browser or app.
- After the stream starts, VPN can be turned off — the stream is already running through Microsoft's CDN.
Latency from Russia to the closest xCloud servers (Istanbul, Amsterdam) is 40-80 ms. That's good enough for single-player and most multiplayer titles, except fighting games and competitive shooters.

The cloud gaming catalog in May 2026 has more than 350 titles, including:
- Starfield, Avowed, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle;
- Forza Horizon 5, Forza Motorsport;
- Halo Infinite, Gears 5, Sea of Thieves;
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Black Ops 6 (added to Game Pass December 2024);
- Diablo IV, Overwatch 2;
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Not every Game Pass title is on cloud: roughly 70% of the subscription library has a cloud version.
