Airalo eSIM Compatible Phones — Full List for 2026
Before buying an Airalo eSIM make sure your phone supports eSIM and is not locked to a single carrier. eSIM support inside one brand can vary by region — for example, the China-market iPhone 13 has no eSIM at all, and Xiaomi only enables the feature on Global ROM.

How to verify eSIM support on your phone
- iPhone: Settings → General → About → scroll down. If you see "Available SIM" or "Digital SIM" rows, eSIM is supported. Or dial
*#06#— the IMEI and EID show. If an EID is listed, eSIM is present. - Samsung / Pixel / Xiaomi: dial
*#06#. If the result includes an EID, eSIM is supported. You can also check Settings → Connections → SIM Manager → Add eSIM.
Unlocked vs carrier-locked
A carrier-locked phone will not accept Airalo even if eSIM is supported in hardware:
- iPhone: Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock row should read No SIM restrictions.
- Android: dial
*#*#8351#*#*(Samsung) or check Settings → About phone → SIM status. If locked, contact the carrier to unlock.
Phones bought from US carriers like AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile are often locked and need an unlock request. Devices from Russia, EU, UAE and most Asian countries usually ship unlocked.
