Is Valorant Battle Pass Worth It in 2026: Review
Every Valorant act in 2026 runs around 2 months, and a new Battle Pass drops with it. The Premium tier costs 1000 VP (~$9.99 US / ₺199 TR), the free tier only gives gun replays. Here is what you actually get and whether it pays back.
What is in the Premium Battle Pass
The Premium tier contains 50 levels of rewards:
- 3 weapon skins (usually Phantom/Vandal/Spectre/Sheriff): Battle Pass Edition — base model with no VFX.
- 3 exclusive Player Cards and 3 sprays.
- 6 talisman / charm gun buddies.
- Radianite Points (RP) — ~10 to upgrade collection skins.
- About 800–1000 Kingdom Credits — in-game currency for older accessory skins.
- Exclusive finisher for one weapon.
How much VP "comes back"
The pass has no direct VP refund — Riot removed that in 2023. However, Kingdom Credits can be spent in the Accessory Store, which indirectly saves the VP equivalent of ~500–700.

In 2026 Riot lowered the requirement from 95 000 XP in the first version to ~85 000 XP per act:
- Unrated win: ~2300 XP (~10–15 min).
- Daily missions: 4000 XP/week.
- Weekly missions: 9000–12 000 XP/week.
- Competitive loss: ~2000 XP.
About 45–60 matches per act is enough to finish the pass. That is ~30 hours over 2 months — roughly 4 hours per week.
Who should buy it
- Worth it if: you play 4+ hours per week, you like collecting skins, you value exclusive cards and gun buddies.
- Skip if: you play casually, can't finish the pass, or only buy Premium collection skins.
Battle Pass vs Premium skins
A Premium skin costs 1775 VP (~$17.50), a 4-skin bundle is 7100 VP (~$70). The Battle Pass at $9.99 delivers more items, but without VFX or finishers.
How to pay for the pass from outside region
Riot does not accept many regional cards. With Marix you buy VP in your local currency, receive it on your Riot ID within 5–15 minutes, and activate the Premium Battle Pass in client.
