FC Points — when to buy
FC Points are the official premium currency. You can buy them from EA/Origin, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store or through our marketplace.
FC Points make sense when:
- You want to open packs — that is their primary purpose
- You need access to FUT Draft (500 Points per entry)
- You are buying a FUT Champs Pass for Weekend League
Skip FC Points when:
- You want a specific player — buying with Coins on the transfer market is simpler
- You are on a budget — packs have negative expected value on average

FUT Coins — how to earn them
Coins are the primary in-game currency of Ultimate Team. They are used to buy and sell players on the transfer market.
Ways to earn Coins in-game:
- Matches: ~300–600 Coins per Division Rivals win
- Weekend League: up to 100,000+ Coins for high finishes
- SBCs (Squad Building Challenges): submit players in exchange for packs or rewards
- Trading: buy low, sell high on the transfer market (EA takes a 15% tax)
- Weekly objectives: an extra 10,000–30,000 Coins per week
SP (Stadium Points) — what they are and whether you need them
SP are earned in Volta Football — the street football mode in EA FC 26. They are spent exclusively on stadium cosmetics in FUT: stands, pitch boards, banners and badges.
SP have no impact on player cards, packs or the transfer market. If stadium cosmetics do not interest you, SP can be safely ignored.

Coins are better if you want a specific player, since transfer market prices are transparent. FC Points make sense for opening packs (an RNG experience) or playing Draft. For building a top squad efficiently, Coins beat Points.
Can FC Points be converted into Coins?
Not directly. The only path is: spend Points on packs → sell the players you get for Coins. This is rarely profitable — packs have negative expected value on average.
Is it safe to buy FC 26 Coins from third-party sellers?
