What is happening
You entered your Fortnite gift card code at epicgames.com/redeem, but instead of a successful activation you received an error message. The code may be correct, yet the system won't accept it. Here is why.
Root causes
Region mismatch. The most common cause. A gift card issued for one region (such as Turkey or the US) may be incompatible with an account registered in a different country. Epic ties cards to their region of issue.
Code already redeemed. If the code was previously used — by you or by someone else in a fraud scenario — the system will return "This code has already been redeemed."
Incorrect code format. When entering manually it is easy to confuse similar characters: 0 and O, 1 and I, 8 and B. The code must be entered exactly as printed, usually all uppercase.
Card bought from an untrustworthy seller. Scammers sell non-existent codes, codes for different products, or codes that have already been used. This is the most dangerous scenario — money is lost and the code is worthless.
Temporary Epic server issue. In rare cases the redemption server is temporarily unavailable. Wait 10–15 minutes and try again.

Double-check the code you entered. Copy the code from the email or clipboard — do not type it manually. Make sure there are no spaces before or after the code.

Use the correct redemption page. Fortnite cards are only activated at epicgames.com/redeem. No other websites are valid for this.
