Roblox Card Redeemed But No Robux on Balance — How to Recover
After entering the code on roblox.com/redeem-roblox-cards, Roblox shows «Card successfully redeemed», but the Robux counter in the header doesn't move. This is a classic case of two different problems bundled together: either the card credited a different account, or there's an anti-fraud hold. Three checks before you assume the card is bad.
Why this error appears
- Credited to the wrong account. If your device has multiple Roblox logins (child, main, test), the card may have hit whichever account was last signed in inside the browser.
- Currency conversion delays the credit. A USD card redeemed on a RUB account is recalculated by Roblox and can take up to 30 minutes to land.
- The account is temporarily flagged. Suspicion of account takeover, phishing or fraud places a hold — Robux land in «pending» instead of the available balance.
- Redeemed via Apple/Microsoft. If the card was applied to an App Store or Microsoft Store subscription, the Robux are bound to that platform billing profile rather than your Roblox account directly.
How to fix it
- Open
account.roblox.com→ My Transactions → Summary. There should be a row with today's date and the Robux amount. If it's there, the Robux are credited — the header just shows a cached value. - Confirm which account you signed in to.
roblox.com→ profile icon → User ID. Compare with the account the card was bought for. - Hard refresh the page. Cmd+Shift+R (macOS) / Ctrl+F5 (Windows), then sign back in.
- Check the confirmation email from Roblox. [email protected] sends an email with the username and amount — the most reliable evidence of where the Robux went.
- If the card was redeemed via an Apple/Microsoft subscription, check Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Roblox on iOS. Robux often attach to a specific platform billing profile there.
- Open a Roblox Support ticket.
