Google Play Says "We Don't Have Enough Information"
This error appears when activating a Google Play Gift Card and sounds vague. In reality, it means specific things.
What This Error Means
Google Play shows "We don't have enough information to process this transaction" when:
1. New account without history Account was just created, no history of activations or purchases. Google doesn't trust new accounts.
2. Unusual account behavior Too many consecutive activation attempts, login from new IP, suspicious activity.
3. Account without payment profile The account doesn't have a country set up โ no payment profile.
4. Google Play restrictions Some accounts fall under automatic restrictions.
How to Fix
Step 1: Set up a payment profile if not configured (Google Play โ Settings โ Country and profiles).
Step 2: Wait 24-48 hours and try again. Sometimes the restriction lifts automatically.
Step 3: Try activating from another device or browser.
Step 4: Contact Google support through support.google.com.
If the Problem Is with a New Account
If you just created an account with a new region โ wait a few days before activating the Gift Card. Google needs time to "trust" a new account.
Alternative
If activation isn't working โ buy a subscription through marix.app directly. We use other activation methods and bypass these restrictions.
