If Google One is refusing your payment, one of these causes is responsible.
Cause 1: Incompatible Card
Russian bank cards and Mir cards are blocked by Google since 2022.
Fix: Use Google Play Balance instead. Top it up with a gift card from marix.app.
Cause 2: Region Mismatch
Your Google Play balance is in one region's currency, but Google One is trying to charge in a different currency.
Fix: Make sure both Google Play and Google One are configured in the same account with the same region.
Cause 3: Insufficient Balance
Google One charges the full monthly amount at once. Partial payments don't work.
Fix: Check your Google Play balance and top up to at least the monthly subscription cost.
Cause 4: Account Requires Local Payment Method
Some regions require a local payment card attached, not just Play balance.
Fix: Try a different regional account (Turkey, India, Kazakhstan) where Play balance is accepted for Google One.
Summary
Most payment failures are due to incompatible cards or region mismatches. Use Google Play Balance (topped up with a regional gift card from marix.app) and ensure region consistency.
